Working in pediatric psychiatry is like repeating grade nine three times a week. Teenage girls are just. so. mean. Especially anorexic teenage girls.

If you're not the worst nurse ever you are their only best friend. One minute they want to spend every waking minute with you and the next they can't stand to see your face. They treat you like dirt but expect the world.

They are some of the sickest patients you could ever work with.

And.

They suck the life out of you.

They think that you appreciate their criticisms and are offended by their harsh assaults - but is it really possible to be hurt by a girl who shoves brownies in her bra and jewelry in her vagina?
